Artist 2017: Doug Jamieson

Doug Jamieson’s watercolors, oils, etchings and drawings are exhibited in galleries, art societies, colleges and museums as well as in collections throughout the U.S.

He received a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City and is the author of the book Draw from Your Head: A Step by Step System of Drawing the Human Figure, published by Watson Guptil. He teaches classes at various venues in Delaware and Otsego Counties as well as from his studio in Treadwell. Doug is a member of the Cooperstown Art Association, Cooperstown, NY; The Smithy-Pioneer Gallery, Cooperstown, NY; Elaine Beckwith Gallery, Jamaica, VT. Doug is a Signature Member of NY Plein Air Painters (NYPAP) and Founder of Catskills Plein Air Painters (CATPAP); a Signature Member of the Central New York Watercolor Society and a member of the Northeast Watercolor Society; as well as a member of The Boston Print Club.

Jamieson will display work at his studio, venue #6.
